President Michel Temer today told senators who visited him in the morning that he is "the victim of a conspiracy." Without pointing out the perpetrators of the coup, Temer repeated more than once that he was "firm" in the post and sentenced: "I will not fall!". At this moment, Temer is meeting with ministers of the hard core of the government and evaluates to make a pronouncement.

The president said it was strange that the facts were released as the economy returned to growth and reforms are moving forward in Congress.

The president did not appear to be suffering, according to reports. It was Temer himself who brought the matter to a meeting with senators. "We went there to have an audience and he asked," Did you see what happened? "Senator Sérgio Peteoão (PSD-AC) reported to the column. Temer did not mention the name of the senator Aécio Neves, the operation's first official day, after Joesley Batista's indictment, which struck the president.

The meeting was scheduled to address the release of amendments to Acre. The senators were surprised to keep the agenda by Temer. "I went there thinking that we would not be received," said Pete. Fear received the politicians alone, without other ministers, as usual. In the end, he said he would "caringly" analyze the demand presented. And he went on to repeat: "It's a conspiracy. I will not fall!
"

Entrepreneur Joesley Batista, owner of the J & F group, recorded a conversation with President Temer and presented as evidence in his award-winning statement. According to investigators, Joesley asked for help with a lawsuit from his company and Temer recommended that he look for Deputy Rocha Loures (PMDB-PR) on his behalf to address the matter. Loures asked Joesley for a bribe to resolve the lawsuit filed by Temer and was filmed receiving $ 500,000, the first installment of the settlement.

In the same conversation, Joesley told the president about payment of allowance for former deputy Eduardo Cunha and operator Lucio Funaro, both of them imprisoned by Lava Jato, so they would not make an awarding donation. Temer heard the report of the crime and asked the businessman, according to investigators, to keep the monthly payments.

Last night, Temer would have told a group of deputies that he heard Joesley's account of the allowance and did not object. He said he thought it was humanitarian aid.

Cunha and Funaro have always threatened to report cases involving President Temer. Close to Joesley, Funaro began negotiations for a statement but did not advance. His sister, Roberta, was arrested today, accused by Joesley of receiving payment of the allowance in his name. Cunha already said in prison that he would be known as the politician who overthrew two presidents: he was the one who authorized Dilma Rousseff's impeachment process as president of the
House. The other target is Michel Temer.

Amid the scandal of the day, Temer canceled the rest of the agenda.

#MANIPULATED VITAL EVIDENCE,GREAT POSSIBILITY OF (PRESIDENT TEMER`S STATEMENT – BBC – NEWS)

In a defiant speech, Mr Temer said a secret audio recording, in which he allegedly discusses the payment of hush money to a jailed politician,
needed to be validated.

Brazil president seeks suspension of corruption investigation

Brazil's President Michel Temer says he will ask the Supreme Court to suspend an investigation against him, because vital evidence has been "manipulated".
In a defiant speech, Mr Temer said a secret audio recording, in which he allegedly discusses the payment of hush money to a jailed politician, needed to be validated.
Mr Temer is suspected of corruption and obstruction of justice which he denies.
Despite growing calls for him to go, Mr Temer repeated that he would not quit.
In the audio recording, made at a meeting with Joesley Batista, president of giant meat-packing firm JBS, Mr Temer appears to be discussing bribes to the former speaker of the lower house of Congress, Eduardo Cunha, who is serving a prison sentence for corruption.
The money would be in exchange for Cunha's silence over Mr Temer's alleged implication in Brazil's wide-ranging corruption scandal known as Operation Car Wash.
The probe, launched in March 2014, centres on companies that were offered deals with state oil giant Petrobras in exchange for bribes, which were funnelled into politicians' pockets and political party slush funds.
The scandal has engulfed Brazilian politics, with a third of Mr Temer's cabinet under investigation for alleged corruption. Former president Lula is already facing five charges.
The man Mr Temer allegedly condoned the bribery to - Eduardo Cunha - is in prison for corruption, money laundering and tax evasion.
Both men played a key role in the downfall of Ms Rousseff, who was removed from office accused of illegally manipulating government accounts. She denies all the charges.

Analysis - Julia Carneiro, BBC correspondent, Brazil

The president is biding his time by asking the Supreme Court to suspend investigations until the audio is verified, and justice Edson Fachin's decision to order the verification may give him some breathing room.
But the crisis is unravelling quickly, with the first party of the ruling coalition having decided to leave the government on Saturday; and the remaining coalition members assessing whether it's time to abandon ship.
While the president struggles to save his mandate, the economic and political elites are already discussing the day after - and the possible scenarios would President Temer resign, suffer impeachment or have the 2014 election result annulled by Brazil's Electoral Court.
"I have never bought anyone's silence, haven't obstructed justice and haven't done anything against the judiciary," Mr Temer said in the televised address at the presidential palace on Saturday.
Mr Temer is already deeply unpopular in Brazil but his centre-right party has been able to govern as part of a coalition. He took office a year ago, after President Dilma Rousseff's impeachment.
Opposition parties have demanded his resignation and snap elections.
