The
president of the Worker`s Party (PT), Rui Falcão, promised to break
Brazil
in pieces
if
Lula is sentenced by Lava Jato.
Read
an excerpt from his speech, reproduced by UOL:
"That
on the 10th they know very well: if they want to condemn Lula, if
they want to continue this campaign, there will be resistance in the
whole country ....
At
this point
of
resistance,
there will not be only the militants of the Worker`s
Party (PT).
There will be the leaders of the popular movement, the landless, the
homeless, the union leaders, the Central
Workers Union
(CUT),
other central, leftist parties - such as the Communist Party of
Brazil - united to guarantee democracy in Brazil. "
And
then:
"We
say that there has been a Coup d'Etat against our government (they
reffering to Rousseff`s Impeachment)
and our ability to react was small because we were not prepared for
the coup. Now, we have to be aware that there is another blow going
on. And this we have to bar. And if you bar the Coup
d'Etat is with
mobilization, with fighting, with coping ability. And that the
militancy of the Worker`s
Party (PT)
never refused to do ".

Judge
Sérgio Moro asks to Operation Car Wash`s
Supporters not
to go to Curitiba (Parana State`s Capital) for
for the
interrogation of former president Luís Inácio Lula da Silva next
Wednesday (10)
Former president to be
questioned in Operation Car Wash case on Wednesday (10); He is
accused of money laundering and passive corruption.
Sérgio Moro asks Operation
Car Wash Supporters not to go to Curitiba
Judge Sérgio Moro asked that
the people who support Operation Lava Jato do not go to Curitiba on
the day of the interrogation of former President Luiz Inacio Lula da
Silva scheduled for Wednesday (10). The request was made in a video
posted on social networks this Saturday (6). Watch the video above.
"I have heard that many
people who support Operation Car Wash intend to come to Curitiba to
express this support, or people from Curitiba want to come here to
express their support. I would say this support has always been
important, but on that date it is not Everything that we want to
avoid on that date is some kind of confusion and conflict and, above
all, I do not want anyone to get hurt, "said the judge who is
responsible for Lava Jato's actions in the first instance.
Former President Lula is
guilty in a lawsuit involving three OAS contracts with Petrobras.
According to the indictment, $ 3.7 million in kickbacks were paid to
Lula. For prosecutors of the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office
(MPF), the bribe was made through the reservation and remodeling of
the three-floor apartment in Guarujá, and the cost of storing its
assets. The former president denies the allegations.
Lula responds for passive
corruption and money laundering in this criminal action.
"Dear, this is Judge
Sérgio Moro, I'm using the social network to send a message, I do
not usually do it, but I'll do it this time." On 10 October, the
interrogation of former President Luiz Inácio Lula Da Silva The
interrogation is an opportunity that the former president will have
to defend himself, it is a normal act of the process. Nothing
different or abnormal will happen on that date, just this
interrogation.I have heard that many people who support the Operation
Car Wash intends to come to Curitiba to express this support, or even
people from Curitiba intend to come here to express this support.I
would say the following: this support was always important, but on
that date it is not necessary. Some sort of confusion and conflict,
and, above all, I do not want anyone to get hurt in an eventual
discussion or conflict on that date. So my suggestion is do not come,
do not need, let justice do U work, everything will occur with
normality and I hope everyone understands. Goodnight to everyone"
Initially, the interrogation
of the former president was scheduled for May 3. However, after a
request from the Federal Police (PF), Judge Sérgio Moro decided to
postpone it. The Federal Police argued that it needed "more time
to conduct the dealings with the security and intelligence agencies
for the hearing to be held."
Safety
The Secretariat of Public
Security (Sesp) of Paraná set up a different scheme for the day of
the interrogation of the former president.
Groups for and against the
former president marked manifestation acts for the date. According to
Sesp, they will be separated to avoid direct confrontations. Those
who want to hold demonstrations in Lula's favor should stay on the
sidewalk at Rua XV de Novembro. Already the opposite people must
remain in the region of the Civic Center.
There will also be security
reinforcement inside and outside the Federal Justice building in
Curitiba. By determination of the Federal Regional Court of the 4th
Region, the case of the Federal Court will be suspended on the day.
Only people who have a direct connection to the process can enter the
site.
The surroundings of the
building will also have blocks within a radius of 150 meters. Only
accredited residents and journalists will be able to approach the
building.
There are two ways for
residents to register. The first is in person, in a mobile unit of
the Military Policy (PM), in the Pedro Alexandre Broto Square, in
front of the Federal Court. The work will be carried out from 9am to
6pm, until and Monday (8).
In addition, uniformed
military police officers must also walk through the homes on those
same days and times to register residents who do not attend the
mobile unit. The PM reiterates that only those who are in uniform can

O ex-presidente nega as acusações.

President Trump celebrates passage of Obamacare replacement bill, vows lower premiums and deductibles
- Trump campaigned on a promise to repeal Obamacare
- The bill now goes to the Senate for consideration
- Many patient and health provider groups oppose the bill
A beaming President Donald Trump reveled Thursday in the passage of an Obamacare replacement bill in the House, which he predicted will bring down premiums and deductibles, and set the stage for the biggest tax cut in U.S. history.
"It's going to be unbelievable," said Trump, standing in the Rose Garden at the White House, with scores of House Republicans standing behind him less than two hours after the vote.
"Make no mistake: This is a repeal andreplace of Obamacare," Trump said.
Before Trump spoke, he was introduced by Vice President Mike Pence.
"Welcome to the end of Obamacare," said Pence.
Trump said, "We're going to pass this," referring to the fact that the Senate now will take up consideration of the controversial bill.
Although the legislation is expected to face a difficult road to passage in the Senate, Trump vowed, "We're going to finish it off, and we're going to go on to a lotof of other things."

Trump also said that he expects the bill "to get better" as it moves through the legislative process.
"Most importantly, yes, premiums will be coming down. Yes, deductibles will be coming down," Trump said.
He said passage of the bill is a necessity because of ongoing problems with Obamacare.
"I predicted it, a long time ago, I said, 'It's failing,'" Trump said. "And now, it's obviously dead. Dead!"
Trump, who delayed a planned visit to New York City to celebrate the House passage, lauded the Republicans behind him for winning the vote almost two months after they aborted an earlier vote because of lack of support from some GOP members.
The Republican leadership signed off on a series of amendments to the bill to satisfy concerns about it among conservatives and moderates.
"We have an amazing group of people behind us. They worked so hard, they worked so long," Trump said. "This has brought the Republican Party together."
"They're not even doing it for the party," Trump said. "They're doing it for this country because wesuffered with Obamacare."
In particular, Trump cited House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., joking that he had heard complaints about Ryan earlier in the week when it was not clear that the bill would pass, and also hard calls to oust Ryan as speaker.
But on Thursday after the vote, Trump quipped, "I hear Paul Ryan's a genius."
However, even as Trump spoke, a number of Republican senators were saying they will not use the House bill as the basis for an Obamacare replacementbill, but instead will craft their own legislation.
Bloomberg quoted Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski as saying she hopes the Senate will begin the process with "a clean slate."
