The Federal Attorney General's Office (AGU) will send a letter to all ministries requesting that the bureaus submit a balance sheet, with an estimate of the losses during the demonstration yesterday at the Esplanada in Brasilia. After repealing the decree that established the use of the Armed Forces for the Guarantee of Law and Order (LDO), President Michel Temer determined that the AGU would do the work of raising damages to the treasury.

It is only after the collection of the files is that the AGU will file an action that will recover the public coffers against the organizers, that is, the trade union centrals. There is still no definition of where the action will be filed, but probably, according to AGU sources, will be in the Federal Court in Brasilia.
There is no information on whether the AGU will determine a deadline for ministries to submit their withdrawals. Despite this, the government is in a hurry and wants to respond as soon as possible to the protests and, above all, to show that the escalation of violence in yesterday's actions justified the measure of decreasing the use of the Armed Forces. Temer's decision was criticized and caused a series of negative reactions in Congress.
Last night, Planalto Palace had already asked the ministries to compile and assemble images of security cameras showing the damage to help defend the decision to invoke military troops. These images can also serve to identify and criminally frame the people responsible for depredation.
Defense Minister Raul Jungmann, who officially announced this morning the revocation of the decree authorizing the use of the Armed Forces in Brasilia, said that in addition to the AGU, the Federal Police will be responsible for investigations to punish those responsible for acts of vandalism. "The disorder will not be tolerated," he said.

A

reações negativas no Congresso.
O
disse.
